The board members of the Flatbush Community Fund approached Brandify to bring an awareness to the community on the fundamental issues surfacing in Flatbush, issues like: poverty, addiction, abuse, neglected needs of children, and families quietly enduring significant hardships.
While the people of Flatbush were donating to various causes and organizations, due to a lack of awareness they were neglecting their own community.

We immersed ourselves deeply in the core problem,
the lack of awareness. We realized more then a logo design, the Flatbush Community Fund needed to be heard, they needed a cry for action, Flatbush, needed a voice.
Taking visual inspiration from the diversity of the neighbourhood, the people, lifestyles, architecture and community, we began to explore a bold and unifying direction in constructing the Fund’s verbal and visual identity. The identity needed to shout and the message had to be clear.
Developing a style of communication.
It was no small challenge creating this identity, we needed to boldly capture the community members attention yet look friendly and trustworthy doing so.
For the core of the identity we first chose and carefully tweaked a primary font inspired by New York itself. Bold, Impactful and Memorable. We had to speak a language our
Building the Brand.
With the core built and the strategy in place, we now set out on the journey of crafting a logo. With the purpose of the organization as our compass, we designed their logo to reflect their mission, The fund supporting the community and the community holding up Flatbush. The symbol now communicates what the organization set out to accomplish.
Unity within diversity.
With a birds eye view of the Flatbush neighbourhood, we uncovered a custom typeface and grid to structure the identity and campaign. Focusing on bringing a community together and celebrating its diversity the campaign was designed to be bold and colourful, striking a chord with its audience and leaving a strong impression of what the fund was bravely undertaking.
Same Streets Different Lives.
With a strong Brand and online identity established, we launched a campaign with a clear goal in mind, to raise awareness in the community and to unite them to take action.
Each Ad portrayed a verbal and visual message conveying an underlying issue the fund was going to solve. With striking graphics and typography we took the streets of Flatbush by storm.

In response to the campaign the people of the community came together to support the fund and provided incredible financial assistance, And partnering with trusted organizations that multiplied the success.
The campaign brought the needed awareness to the community and the Fund now ensures that they never neglect their neighbours in need.
